Thunderbird Lodge Chinle, Chinle

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy, very comfortable for a motel. I was pleasantly surprised that they weren't as rustic as I expected, and the Keurig coffeemaker was a nice touch. However, the bathroom was a bit on the smaller side, but it's understandable given the remote location.

The staff's demeanor varied from exceptionally friendly in the cafeteria to rather unwelcoming and even rude in interactions, impacting the overall service quality. The location was excellent for exploring Canyon de Chelly and the nearby trading post, but fell slightly short of expectations. The dining options, particularly the adjacent cafeteria with local specialties, offered a convenient but limited experience. The facilities provided were satisfactory but did not stand out. Overall, the value for money was decent considering the aspects that could be improved.
